I love teachers and I love teaching. I have an inclusive mindset and believe there is no single right way to meet the needs of our most precious resource; our children. Having worked on many dynamic teams both large and small to support the needs of all children, while focusing on the most vulnerable, I know the synergy created when educators and parents work and learn together can make miracles happen.  

I have also presented and led many discussions with educators, parents, students and community members on a variety of topics such as assessment, Autism, learning disabilities, anxiety, ADHD, social media and technology, mindfulness, inclusion trauma, problem solving, ethics, boundaries, self-care and accessing community resources. 

My own teaching philosophy has been strongly influenced by Dr. Ross Greene and his "Collaborative Problem Solving Model", Dr. Jennifer Katz and her "Three Block Model" and Dr. Shelley Moore's teachings on inclusion and diversity. Other influences include  "Universal Design for Learning" by Dr. Wiggins and Dr. McTighe and concept based or "Project Based Learning". There are several more but this is the "A" list.
